Entrance passes
The e-ticket for each of our events is activated six to eight weeks before the show opens; the link is on the official show website (see all shows). Koelnmesse does not print name badges, so bring your own corporate name tag to identify yourself. Follow the registration and ordering steps and pay by credit card to complete the order.
Entry into Germany
No visa is required for US or Canadian passport holders travelling to Germany for a trade fair, but your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your departure date. Check the current rules on the US State Department site and Koelnmesse's visa support page.
Getting to Cologne
Numerous daily flights from North America serve Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Brussels and Amsterdam; there are no direct flights to Cologne. The most convenient connection is Frankfurt Airport, which links to the Cologne fairground by high-speed train in 55 minutes. Düsseldorf Airport is 40 minutes by public transport.
By train: Cologne has two main stations, Köln Hauptbahnhof in the city center and Köln Messe/Deutz directly in front of the fairground. All trains stop at both. Schedules on bahn.com.
By car: roads to the fairground are well marked. Follow the green traffic signs to Koelnmesse and its 14,500 parking spaces; free shuttle buses run to the entrances.
Hall plans, site maps and arrival details for the Cologne fairground are on koelnmesse.com.
Travel agent and hotel blocks
Travel Trade International, Inc. (TTI Travel) is a US-based corporate travel agency that arranges travel for North American exhibitors and attendees of our Koelnmesse events in Cologne and other shows worldwide. TTI holds room blocks in hotels close to the fairground and can include airfare.
